website is a resource for the management and treatment of Crohn’s
Disease and other Inflammatory Bowel Diseases designed to help both
patients and healthcare professionals.
Inflammatory bowel disease encompasses many forms including Crohn’s
disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These are chronic diseases, which may reoccur.
Many different forms of treatment are available that lead to long remissions,
but at present no immediate cure exists.
The aim is to keep symptoms completely under control so that patients can
lead a full life.
We have put together an overview of Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which includes
descriptions, causes, investigations, treatments and possible complications.
